Be Proactive in Your AMD Care

June 2022

As a ForeseeHome patient, you know that our monitoring program is a safety net to help your eye doctor detect any changes in your vision that may indicated a conversion to wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD) between your regular eye exams. While we work hand in hand with your doctor for your AMD care, your doctor is the one who diagnoses the conversion to wet AMD and either treats or refers you to a retina specialist for treatment.

The Notal Vision Monitoring Center is always available to answer your questions, but if your vision does not seem quite right when you are testing with the ForeseeHome device or even in your day-to-day life, we will always instruct you to call your doctor right away.

Help your doctor help you by calling their office first to let them know as soon as possible if you notice any changes in your vision. Time is truly of the essence if you have converted to wet AMD and the best time to treat is as early as possible for the best possible outcome.

You are already taking control of your AMD by testing with ForeseeHome, but make sure to be proactive with your doctor too!
