At the Notal Vision Monitoring Center, we’re always looking for ways to stay connected with you and make your experience even better. Since June, many of you may have already heard from Karen, our friendly digital assistant, who reaches out as part of our routine check-ins to support you and thank you for being a part of the ForeseeHome AMD Monitoring Program. Together with your doctor, we are committed to helping preserve your vision and supporting you every step of the way.
We are excited to share that over 4,000 patients have already received a call from Karen. As part of this initiative, we surveyed those patients for their feedback on the digital assistant. Most patients surveyed told us their experience with Karen was good. They felt the interaction helped them feel valued as part of the ForeseeHome program, and the messages were clear.
Many of us experience digital support via artificial intelligence (AI) in our daily lives, and our goal is to make sure these interactions are meaningful, personal, and efficient for our patients. The digital assistant will never replace our dedicated Monitoring Center team; instead, it serves as an extra layer of support—working hand in hand with our staff to ensure your journey with ForeseeHome is smooth, reassuring, and effective.
In the future, we look forward to expanding the use of digital assistants in our Monitoring Center to:
• Help new patients get started easily.
• Extend our support across more days and hours.
• Ensure timely communication when you need it most.
Thank you for being a valued patient of the ForeseeHome program. We are grateful for your trust and look forward to continuing to improve the ways in which we connect with you.
