The Notal Vision Monitoring Center is dedicated to providing the best customer service experience possible. This month, we’re excited to introduce you to Deidre Bone, a member of the Ophthalmic Practice Education team.
Working with Notal Vision for just over a year, Deidre engages new eye care practices to help them get set up with referring their patients to the Notal Vision Monitoring Center for ForeseeHome. She helps support doctors' offices, answering their questions, providing technical support, and training their staff.
Deidre also makes sure each office receives timely patient-related communications when a patient alerts, if a patient is enrolled in the Compliance Coaching Program or if they are unable to establish a baseline.
While she doesn’t interact with patients daily, her role helps them by supporting their doctor's offices as they use the Notal Vision Monitoring Center's remote monitoring service for their intermediate dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD) patients.
When it comes to identifying the most rewarding aspect of her job, Deidre notes the opportunity to help prevent vision loss for patients:
“After working in an eye doctor’s office for many years, I met so many patients that lost their vision for different reasons and I know how precious their sight was to them. Macular degeneration is the leading cause of severe vision loss in people over age 60 so I’m proud to work for a company that wants to help drastically change that statistic.”
