Preventing AMD Vision Loss with Digital Healthcare

Digital health, which has the ability to help in many areas of eye care, is especially impactful in AMD. Adding digital health to office-based care enhances the ability to detect neovascular AMD conversion earlier for timely treatment, so patients have a better chance at preserving vision long term.

PIE (Posterior Segment – Innovation – Enlightenment) Magazine interviewed Sid Schechet, MD, a forward-thinking ophthalmologist and retina specialist at the Elman Retina Group in Baltimore, Maryland about how he has incorporated digital health into his patient care with the use of the ForeseeHome AMD Monitoring Program.
